Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2025
1. Acceptance of terms
By installing SniffSec Drill in your Slack workspace, you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of your organization. If you do not agree, do not install the application.
2. Description of service
SniffSec Drill is a Slack-native security awareness training application. It delivers role-based security training questions to Slack users and generates compliance-ready audit reports for administrators.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use SniffSec Drill only for legitimate security awareness training purposes within your organization. You may not:
- Use the service to collect personal data beyond what is required for training purposes
- Attempt to access data belonging to other workspaces
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary question content
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer access to the service
4. Free tier limitations
The free tier supports up to 5 active Slack workspace members. "Active" means members who have initiated at least one drill in the billing period. If your workspace exceeds 5 active members, we reserve the right to contact you about upgrading to a paid plan.
5. Data and privacy
Your use of SniffSec Drill is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
All drill content, question banks, scoring algorithms, and report templates are the intellectual property of SniffSec. Training completion data and audit logs generated for your workspace belong to your organization.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
SniffSec Drill is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the training content will be current at all times. Security training reduces human risk but does not eliminate it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SniffSec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any security incident that occurs after training is completed.
9. Termination
You may terminate your use of SniffSec Drill at any time by uninstalling the Slack application. Upon uninstallation, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to workspace administrators with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
